So… I had another challenge today, a customer brought in his portable hard drive along with a question… I need the data on this drive but can’t find the power supply. I think It may have stopped working a little while ago and it’s possible it may have been thrown away. Did I have a spare…?
So I opened it up and guess what I found? …

Now the real issue here of course was the data but did you know….
I’ve said it before, don’t write it off without at least letting us have a look. The power connector on the hard drive along with the circuit board inside his portable drive case was fried to say the least….
But, a little bit of elbow grease and determination and this hard drive lives to see another day…
The hard drive now works, I’ve placed it into another fresh and new caddy and the customer has his hard drive back in one piece and all his data is safe….
See… we really do go the extra mile..
